Science - Rainbow Mountain

Rainbow Mountain, also known as Vinicunca, is located in the Andes Mountains of Peru. Iron oxidation gives it Red, Iron Sulphide/Sulphate gives yellow and orange, Geothite/Limonite gives it purple and lavender, Chlorite gives it green, Quartzose/sandstone gives it white, weathering and erosion enhances the colors. Tracks of varying colors are spectacular.

Another spectacular Rainbow Mountain is located in Zhangye Danxia Landform Geological Park in China.

Qur'an - Rainbow Mountain

Verse 35:27 points out some Signs of Allah (SWT) to make us ponder, learn, and research.  That is one of the methods that Holy Qur'an uses to encourage learning.

أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَأَخْرَجْنَا بِهِۦ ثَمَرَٰتٍ مُّخْتَلِفًا أَلْوَٰنُهَا وَمِنَ ٱلْجِبَالِ جُدَدٌۢ بِيضٌ وَحُمْرٌ مُّخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَٰنُهَا وَغَرَابِيبُ سُودٌ

Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky, and We produce thereby fruits of varying colors?

And in the mountains are tracts, white and red of varying shades and [some] extremely black. 35:27
