Qur'an - Ring composition of the Holy Qur'an

When you read the Holy Qur'an for the first time, various subjects that are discussed may seem to be scattered within and among the chapters.  In reality, the composition of the Holy Qur'an follows a precise design by Allah (SWT) encapsulating the intricate use of words.  One of amazing facts about the composition of this book is that you often observe that discussion of various subjects are connected to each in a ring fashion.  Let's take a look at the 2nd chapter of the Holy Qur'an which has 286 verses.  The entire chapter can be grouped into 9 subjects.  The first group of verses at the beginning of this sura discuss "Believing and disbelieving".  They mirror the last group of verses in this sura discussing the same thing.  Similarly, group 2 mirrors group 8, group 3 mirrors group 7, and group 4 and 5 mirror each other.  Group 5 which is the middle group discusses changing the direction of prayer.  This group contains Verse 143 which is exactly in the middle of the chapter containing the word "middle'.

Furthermore, each group has rings of its own.  For example, group 8 has its own internal rings or sub-groups.

Verse 254 is its sub-group 1 discussing "Believers should give of the bounties that God has provided".

Verses 255-260 are sub-group 2 discussing "God is all Powerful and All Knowing and He gives life and death".

Verses 261-284 are its sub-group 3 discussing "parables about charity".

Obviously sub-groups 1 and 3 form a ring.

Verse 255 that is part of the 2nd sub-group has its own extended rings!  Its group 1 mirrors group 9, group 2 mirrors group 8, group 3 mirrors group 7, and group 4 mirrors group 6.
