Science, the Prophet and Imams

A comprehensive French research paper, published in 1975 by the Research Committee of Strasbourg, examined Shia Islam with a particular focus on the intellectual and scientific contributions of the Shia Imams. The research was conducted by a team of twenty‑five professors—three Muslims and twenty‑two non‑Muslims. Of these scholars, twenty‑two were affiliated with European universities, one taught in the United States, and two were based in Iran. The pages are derived from the findings of that extensive report and other resources.
